Spring Cleaning ........................Inside and Out

It is time to shake off the dust off your rugs and your dreams.  Take spring cleaning outside the home and into you mind.

Yes, it’s that time of year-Spring time!  Baseball has started, flowers are blooming, and bees are buzzing.  For many, a time for Spring Cleaning.   A time to shake out the rugs, clean off the dirt of winter and pull those weeds that have taken over the yard.  Spring is a time to refresh, organize, de-clutter and air out our homes.

As I was vacuuming behind the TV and dusting under the DVR, I thought: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could transfer this Spring Cleaning ritual into our minds and reap the rewards of a clean and fresh mindset”.

We could start by;  Coming out of hibernation….De-clutter our minds of the endless to-do’s and should do’s…shake the dust off our dreams and start living in the moment!  Think of the possibilities as the proverbial dust starts to disappear. I invite you to ponder your life from this clean and fresh perspective and ask yourself:; What can you let go of?  What has been covered in dust?  What have you been putting off? What do you want? And anything else that comes to mind.

From this place of freshness, and new found energy and clarity grab a piece of paper and answer the following questions:

1.       What is sparkling again?

2.       What is there room for now?

3.       What is possible now that you have a clear window to look through?

4.       What am I ready to spring into?

Once you have identified the things that you want and possibilities to explore make a plan and Spring into action!  Take your first step today.    

May your mind, spirit and home shine and sparkle this Spring!
