Tip # 1: Copper and brass
Copper and brass jewelry will shine very bright if you use the following trick for jewelry cleaning: heat a cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup of salt in a saucepan for a few minutes until the salt has dissolved completely. Then remove the pan from the heat, immerse a piece of cotton cloth in this mixture and rub the copper or brass piece with the help of this cloth. Let it dry a few minutes and it will shine.

Tip # 2: The bronze
All bronze pieces should be cleaned periodically with the following process: Fill a small tub with warm water and add 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup of ammonia. Then immerse a fine brush in this solution and rub the bronze products. After that, rinse with water and dry them with a piece of cloth.

Tip # 3: Silver
To clean silver, first, the object is washed with water and a silver caustic cleaning jet stream. Then it should be rinsed well and dried. In a bowl, prepare a paste with 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons of alcohol and then apply it to the silver with a cotton cloth, rub a few minutes, rinse with water and dry.

In case of small silver ornaments (bells, thimbles, etc.) or rings and bracelets, you can put them in half a glass of vinegar mixed with a teaspoon of baking powder.

Tip # 4: Alabaster
To clean alabaster objects, you must first remove all kinds of dust from the pieces. After that, you should use a cloth soaked in milk and rub it on the jewelries. You can then use another piece of cloth to try them.

To clean gold, mix half a cup of ammonia with one cup of hot water. Then soak the jewelry in this mixture for ten to fifteen minutes. After that, rub then with a soft brush and rinse well.

Another trick for jewelry cleaning is to put the gold on a handkerchief, coat it well with paprika, and make a bundle with it all. Then tie the ends of the handkerchief and rub well. Finally, apply soap on them and rinse thoroughly.
