Today after a very long time I finally got a chance to attend a wedding,Don’t let make-up wear you Articles as generally in the wedding season I am so busy doing makeup for the brides that I hardly can make time to actually attend any such function. Even Today I was exhausted by the time we were supposed to go, but I make an extra effort to go over because I really wanted to see what everyone was wearing this winter; what’s in and what’s out, what colors are there and what sort of makeup looks people want these days.

I saw some very nicely designed outfits, and also some dresses in very new and rare colors, but as you know a makeup artist can’t help scanning people’s makeup. An artist like me has to force himself to sit back as it’s very hard to see someone with a very fixable mistake and not be able to walk up to her and put it right. I am sure some people might appreciate the gesture but the majority easily gets offended and I never want to create a scene at a gathering.

I just returned home ten minutes ago and thought why not share some useful tips with you all as that will serve as a catharsis for me and then you also can make sure the next time you are going to a wedding yours is going to be a flawless makeup look. The most obvious flaw I noticed in most people’s makeup was the shape of the lips and the lip-shades they had used. Please girls stop using red lip-color as an outline. We Asians have either pale complexions or on the tanner side, so A BIG NO TO RED OUTLINE! Always use a brown shade to do that and later cover it up with your desired lip-shade without leaving a prominent lip line!

First of all brown color will give a depth to your lip-shade and a very subtle definition because I believe we should not give a solid boundary line to pronounce the shape of our lips. Another advantage of using a brown lip liner is that it even camouflages the actual shape of your lips if you have tried increasing the lip line, which is a common practice among girls with thin lips.

Now we come to girls with big lips. If you already have big lips then avoid using lighter tones of lip-color and please don’t use a lot of gloss because it will make them look even fuller and sometimes they start looking ugly, so you better watch out for that. People with thin lips should avoid dark lip-shades and can create an amazing effect by using a light lip-color with a pearly lip-gloss. So girls next time make sure you are not using a red lip-liner even if you are wearing red lip-shades. Always cover the base of your lips with a brown shade and you will see the positive effects yourself! Another message for you babes out there: do wear makeup but don’t let the makeup wear you!
