Every school has its rules. If you belong to one of those schools that don’t require you to wear a uniform, then it’s pretty important that you get yourself a fun school wardrobe. A school wardrobe should be light and enjoyable while simultaneously being trendy and chic.

Every school has its rules. If you belong to one of those schools that don’t require you to wear a uniform,Dress Fashionably For School Articles then it’s pretty important that you get yourself a fun school wardrobe. A school wardrobe should be light and enjoyable while simultaneously being trendy and chic. Your choice of clothing should radiate confidence without being too mature. You don’t have to go expensive to get yourself a fun school wardrobe. Explore all your options like thrift stores and online apparel shops. Online clothing stores are probably the best option to purchase your clothes for school. They are usually cheaper and have a huge range of styles. You can select what you think speaks to you right from the comfort of your own home. Do note that payments are made via card so it’s best check out the credentials of the website and read up reviews before you order.

Here are a few choices for your school wardrobe that should add that zing without being too decorative:

  • Skirts:

Explore the world of fun skirts. Choose from pencil skirts, a-line skirts, asymmetrical skirts, tube skirts, flared skirts, fit and flare skirts, mini skirts as well as pleated skirts. The choices are endless. If your school does not allow you to wear mini skirts, that’s absolutely fine. Just pick out a mini skirt anyway and combine it with fun tights. If you plan to wear a straight fit skirt then tuck your shirt into the skirt and add a nice wide belt. Pleated skirts appear best in short length, just above the knees. Your school may not want you to wear a uniform but a check and pleated skirt is a fun option for school. A line skirts work best for those who are a little unsure about wearing anything fitted. A line skirts ensure that you still remain trendy and smart. Printed skirts are always fun for school.

  • Dresses:

You don’t have to go and buy yourself and cocktail dresses for school. Instead blend with the season and buy yourself some fun sun dresses. Select something in bright colors and fun patterns. If your school allows halter necks and tube dresses try those out. Avoid cleavage showing neck lines though. You’ll have plenty of time to experiment with more mature fashions later but the stuff that you can carry off at your age you’ll never be able to do later. Empire waist dresses and asymmetrical hemlines both look great for school.

Don’t think long flowing hemlines and impossibly high collars. Vintage fashions like the flannel dress and the typical 70s style look absolutely gorgeous. Go all the way with your dressing up. Do up your hair, select the right accessories and rock the era you choose. Do your research though. You can’t pick out a vintage dress from the 70s and combine it with make up from the 60s. Another way is to mix vintage and modern day dressing. This could get a little tricky though so ensure that you get the style absolutely perfect.
