Birthdays

Only those of your closest of friends or family members, giving of gifts to them makes sure they know you remember their special day. It would be a bit rude is they gave you gifts on your birthday and you did not even think about returning the favor. Something simple and small, just a gesture of warm greetings, could mean a lot.

Weddings

If you were invited as a guest to a wedding it only means you are special to the couple. If you can’t come, because you are far away or else you never liked attending weddings you can send international gifts instead. A warm greeting would also suffice but something small and elegant would be way better; Just a way to let them know that you are glad that the couple got married and you support their union that is something that the married couple would really appreciate.

Baptisms

It’s the sort of day that parents get to be proud of their little tykes. And if you were named uncle or aunt then it’s prudent that you give gift to the little one. Baby gifts aren’t that hard to find anyways and aren’t that expensive. You get to cuddle the child in exchange when you see him or her and it would really warm the parents heart to know that there are others aside from them who loves their child.

Christmas gifts

These can be limited to family members only (unless you have office parties that you need to give gifts to other people in exchange to what they will give to you that is). Christmas is supposed to be a time of the year that people give gifts to others, open heartedly and warmly. But if you are not in to that festive mood, the giving mood, because you don’t want to give gifts to oblige others to give back to you as well, then how about settling to just giving gifts to loved ones, the real ones. Simple isn’t it?
