Coupons are heavily used in the marketing field for varied uses such as offering rebates or discounts while purchasing a product, sales promotions and online advertisements.

In today's time it is a fat that more than 2,800 consumer goods companies are offering discounts on their products through the use of coupons.

 

In 2010, coupons for consumer packaged goods have generated more than 3.5 billion dollars in revenue in the United States.
