A mouthwash dispenser consists of a storage space where you place the mouthwash, a tube opening, and a pump.  The dispenser is then mounted or placed wherever you choose to put it, typically on the bathroom or kitchen counter.  While there are several different kinds of dispensers, most come with two small cups as well for holding the mouthwash.

Two of the most common mouthwash dispensers you will find on the market are glass dispensers and porcelain dispensers.  Glass dispensers as you may have guessed are made of glass and have a pump on the top that dispenses the mouthwash.  Typically it puts out one ounce of mouthwash for each full push of the pump. 

As for the porcelain dispenser, it is made of durable and strong porcelain.  You can find porcelain dispensers with either a nozzle or a pump and it is conveniently placed on countertops of either your kitchen or bathroom.

There are several differences between the two kinds of dispensers.  First off, the porcelain dispenser is much larger than the glass dispenser and has a larger storage space for mouthwash which the glass one lacks.  However, the porcelain dispenser is lightweight and more susceptible of being knocked over and broken.  Because of this lightweight design, typically you can find the porcelain design for a cheaper buy than the glass mouthwash dispenser.

When shopping for a mouthwash dispenser there are a few things you want to keep in mind.  For convenience, it is nice if you can find one with a large storage capacity so that you can reduce the amount of times you have to refill it.  While glass dispensers do not come with as much space as porcelain ones, you should still take the time to look at the various glass dispensers.

You will also want to look at the stability of the base on each dispenser to ensure it is safe on your countertop.  The last thing you want is to gently bump the dispenser and have it fall over and break on the floor.  Although porcelain dispensers are lighter, many come with strong and sturdy basis that are reliable.

When shopping for a mouthwash dispenser, it is solely up to you to decide which the better buy is.  Between the porcelain dispenser and glass dispenser, each has its own benefits and downfalls.  And there are multiple styles and models of the two kinds of dispensers you can look through as well.  It is up to you to shop around and see what will meet your needs.
