The Acceleration of Era Transformation

The past 15 years have witnessed an unprecedented surge in spiritual and organizational work,The Transformation of the Gross Psyche into the Subtle Realm Articles eclipsing the efforts of the previous three decades. This period of heightened alertness and dedication has culminated in the creation of 2,400 Prajna Pithas and 15,000 Prajna Centers. Beyond these tangible achievements, much of the work has been of a subtle nature, including the daily production of a folder of literature and other less visible endeavors.

As we approach the remaining 15 years of the Era Junction—a pivotal transition from an old era to a new one—the pace of change is set to intensify. The dual challenge of accelerating progress while curbing destructive forces is paramount. At the current rate, the desired goals for the year 2000 may seem out of reach, necessitating a hastening of the global Wheel of Effort. In this collective push, every individual, akin to the vulture and squirrel in the epic Ramayana, plays a crucial role, with the full scope of their contributions to be revealed in time.

The Multifaceted Nature of Responsibility

In times of transformation, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously becomes critical. Life often demands that we juggle various tasks, such as harvesting crops, caring for the sick, and attending to guests, all at once. This multifaceted approach to responsibility is even more pronounced during periods of conflict, where strategic decisions, resource allocation, and care for the wounded must all be balanced with precision. Any lapse in attention to these interconnected duties can lead to disastrous consequences.

Overcoming the Limitations of the Gross Body

The greatest challenge in fulfilling these multifaceted duties lies in the limitations of the gross body, which operates within a confined space and can only bear so much weight. My work, however, spans an unlimited area and touches the lives of many simultaneously. To transcend these physical constraints, one approach is to relinquish the gross body entirely, allowing one or many subtle bodies to carry out the necessary tasks. The gross body's attachment to the fruits of one's actions presents a dilemma, as unresolved debts can persist into future lives, leading to a cycle of karmic entanglement.

The Burden of Great Souls

Historical figures such as Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans, Adi Guru Shankaracharya, Mahatma Narayan Swami, and Guru Golwalkar have all faced severe illnesses at the time of their passing. These afflictions were not the result of their sins but rather a consequence of utilizing more good merits than they possessed. In some cases, these great saints took upon themselves the suffering of others, repaying their debts through enduring deadly diseases, ensuring that no spiritual obstacles would hinder their liberation.

The Advantages of a Subtle Existence

A subtle existence offers a more expansive and multifaceted mode of operation, allowing work to be conducted in multiple places at once and various responsibilities to be shouldered simultaneously. Unlike the gross body, which is bound by physical limitations and language barriers, the subtle body can exchange thoughts directly with the mind or inner psyche without the need for linguistic mediation. This capacity for widespread action is a significant advantage, as the gross body requires physical means of transportation and is limited by the capabilities of the sense organs. In contrast, the subtle body faces no such constraints and can even multiply itself to meet the demands of the moment, as exemplified by Lord Krishna's divine dance with the Gopis and his various manifestations during pivotal events in Hindu mythology.

The Path to Subtilizing the Psyche

The process of subtilizing the psyche is a specialized spiritual practice that continues beyond the life of the gross body and involves intense austerities. It represents the next step in Yoga practices and requires a tailored approach based on individual stature and the guidance of a high stature Guru. The key lies in preventing the wastage of inner spiritual energy through extroversion. In ancient times, saints would retreat to caves and enter states of Samadhi to undertake this endeavor.

The Role of Subtly Embodied Souls in Ancient Literature

Ancient literature is replete with descriptions of subtly embodied souls, ranging from the ethically questionable to the highly revered Devarshis, who could traverse various worlds and offer guidance to devotees. These beings, including the Rishis, were known to manifest spontaneously to provide direction and support. Even today, there are accounts of travelers encountering such beings in the Himalayas, and organizations like the Theosophical Society speak of a group of sages working for world peace, known as 'Invisible helpers.'

The Limitations of Divine Intervention

It is important to recognize that even the most advanced subtly embodied beings, such as Devarshis, are not omnipotent. They operate within the law of karma and can only offer assistance akin to that of a doctor or a benefactor. While their presence can be beneficial, it should not be misconstrued as a substitute for personal effort or a means to bypass the challenges posed by past actions or difficult circumstances.

The Potency of the Subtle Body's Energy

The energy of the subtle body is indeed powerful, providing assistance in overcoming challenging situations and facilitating communication beyond the constraints of the physical world. This invisible support can bolster one's courage and resolve, much like the camaraderie between two steadfast friends.

The Invisible World and Its Inhabitants

Just as the visible world is inhabited by grossly embodied beings, there exists a parallel, subtly invisible world with its own diverse inhabitants. Among them are ordinary souls, malevolent entities, and highly esteemed beings who actively engage with the human realm, correcting wrongs and guiding those who seek to improve themselves.

The Urgency of Subtle Intervention in Contemporary Times

In these critical times, the tangible efforts of our gross bodies are necessary but insufficient. The intervention of potent subtly embodied beings is crucial to prevent further degradation and to facilitate the successful adoption of noble goals by individuals and communities. As I undertake this task, guided by my divine existence (Guru), I am committed to the spiritual awakening required to purify both the visible and invisible worlds, drawing inspiration from the quest for the Sanjivani herb in the epic Ramayana.

In conclusion, the transformation of the gross psyche into the subtle realm is not only a personal spiritual journey but also a collective necessity for the advancement of humanity. As we navigate these transformative times, the subtle energies at play offer a beacon of hope and a means to transcend the limitations of our physical existence.
