Thinking about building or converting any of your rc cars to electric, consider the most important points.

Currently rc cars are being widely used by both,A wide variety of rc cars motors and repairing methods Articles experts and newbie’s. There are many brushless motor that may work well. These engines are far superior in two aspects: power to weight ratio (also smaller for the same power) and efficiency. This implies that the amount of electrical energy that is transformed into mechanical energy is much higher, since the internal losses that occur on heating of the engine are much lower.

For example, an AXI 2826-10 out runner brushless motor weighs only 180 grams, and with 4 Li-Po in series (14 volts), or 14 Ni-Cd cells, has a propeller APC 12x6 at 9900 RPM on 45 Amps (Watts input = 14 V x 45 A = 630 Watts, Output = Input x Efficiency = 630 x 0.79 = 498 Watts, generating nearly the same power as a motor 46. The weight of the pack is 480 grams and 180 grams engine = 660 grams. A glow engine weighs 500 grams 46 grams plus 400, or 900 grams between fuel tank and the same time.

If we use the same rc cars engine with 5 Li-Po in series (17.5 volts), it has an APC 11x6 to 12,200 RPM at 48 Amps, 650 Watts of output generated, generating an output similar to Glow 60. The overall weight is 600 grams 180 grams pack and motor that is 780 grams. A motor 60 weighs about 700 grs, 500 grs more about tank.

Furthermore, moving onto other aspects, repairing is important. Are you familiar with the general methods? The best glue "universal" equals excellence; it brings results instantly (except the so-called gel).

It is sold in different sizes and densities. For balsa wood rc cars these are the most suitable high density as the wood is very porous, and the most lightly be the "sucks" the wood, and little remains on the surface. The "cyano" as it is called by most modelers, it is very light, and another factor that makes it ideal for model airplanes. Be very careful when handling it, because if it touches the skin, inevitably strikes, and this can be very annoying.

One of the drawbacks is its rigidity. This is extremely high, and with great vibration breaks easily. That is why parties should not stick as motor frames or near engine parts that have to withstand vibrations. To do this the epoxy, which is more flexible, but with incredible strength (flexibility is microscopic, it's not a gel). It is well suited for certain rc cars material parts such as rubber.
