The Challenges of Scientific and other Technical Translation

All translations have their particular difficulties, but scientific translations and technical translations in general present particular issues. Foremost is the need for unadorned plainness in these translations.

The world is exploding with modernization because of science and technology. Just like other prose translation, scientific translation could be risky if a professional translator is not hired. People may differ in terms of languages and cultures. However, this is not an excuse for the author of the manual not to provide a quality translation of his or her work.
