Honour someone you love & make them last forever
People who have a special place in our hearts and memories can last forever. Our actions that pay a tribute to their love, sacrifices, concern and selflessness, can make them eternal.
Memories make a loved one eternal. By recollecting past situations, one can travel back in time and relive those moments. As George W. Douglas rightly said, “Each happiness of yesterday is a memory for tomorrow.”
Beyond materialistic things is where memories persist, it lies in happiness, in doing good to others and in helping someone lead a better life. You can make today memorable by improving the health status of children. The Akshaya Patra Foundation is an NGO that feeds unlimited food for education to children from challenging socio-economic backgrounds. Donate in honour of someone you love unconditionally by providing children in need with much-required wholesome meals.
The onus of improving the health of children lies in people who consider the young generation to be the driving force of the future. Akshaya Patra recognises the ability in children and feeds them mid-day meals by implementing the Government’s Mid-Day Meal Scheme. As per the nutritional guidelines laid down by the MHRD, every child in every Government and Government-assisted school will receive free healthy meals with a minimum content of 300 calories and 8-12g of protein for each day of school.
