If
you would like to form a personal page that talks about you and gives some
information on your life, accomplishments and the like, there are a couple
things that you should follow to make certain that it is taken well and nothing
gets misinterpreted.
Do
not seem too self driven. It can be acceptable to list your accomplishments,
but do not seem so enwrapped in them and make it come off egotistical. If the
whole page is about you, it may come off like that. Even if the page is all
about your thoughts, do not make them seem to be revolved around you, reflect
how other consumers impressions hit you.
Be
careful what you detail. Do not be too in depth or vulgar in case potential
employers find it or youthful family members that may be offended by what they
see. Information on the internet is proliferated freely and what you list about
yourself may become propagated and disseminated to the incorrect parties.
Have
a thought in mind when you make the page. Do you want it to be for your family
members, or do you want no one to see it? If so, do you really want a webpage
or could you just utilize a journal or something similar? If your concepts get
switched you may find yourself getting negative backlash from what you put
online from friends, family or employers.
No
matter what, have a great time with it. The eventual goal of your personal page
is to have fun with it, so enjoy it.
