The Motives for People's Self-Destruction

This article tells the readers some motives for people's self-destruction. And some tips are also listed.

Human beings are different from the animals mainly in that human possess the ability to reflecting on the world and, they pay much attention to their social relationships.

However, compared with the animals, human beings seem to take the pleasures in doing something that can bring great harm to themselves. To some extent, sometimes these conductions may be destructive, such as lying, cheating, robbing, killing and committing suicide. Days ago, one magazine called Live Science has released some of the motives for people's self-destructions.

Pressure

In this high developed society, almost everyone feels pressured for various reasons. Pressure increases the morbidity of heart diseases and cancer. What is more, in most cases, pressure will lead to depression, which plays an important role in people's committing suicide. As a result, pressure is indeed a fatal factor for human's health.

However, the theory about how pressure is forming is not for sure yet. For most people, their pressure comes from the job they are doing. According to the data from International Labour Organization, there are more than 600 million people who are doing 48 hours of overtime work every week. With the popular use of smart phones and the Internet, about half of the Americans are taking their work home since the bound between working and entertainment is becoming much vaguer. Another research shows that raising kids is also one of the main sources for people's feeling pressured.

Tips: more physical exercises and adequate sleeping are the effective ways to get out of pressure.

Cheating

It is no surprise that people are telling lies in their daily life. A study by Robert, the psychological professor in Massachusetts University shows that telling lies is an activity which needs some kind of skills. When people try to tell lies, the wording needed is 30 percent more than they do when they tell the truth. What is interesting, people will tell more lies when writing e-mails compared with letters.

The specific mechanism for people's telling lies is still not clear yet. However, it has much to do with the inner psychological factors. As far as Robert is concerned, the self-esteem may play an important role in people's telling lies.

Tips: to take life easy and enjoy what you have may reduce the frequency of telling lies.

Bad habits

Several researches show that it is really hard to get rid out of some bad habits even if we are aware of the harm these habits may bring to us.

Cindy, a specialist in the study of bad habits in University of Alberta located in Canada, puts forward the following reasons why people are not willing to cut out the bad habits they form in their daily life: the rebellious attitudes, the failure to truly understand the essence of the dangers caused by their bad habits, the rationalization of ill health habits and genetic factors so on and so forth.

Tips: Cindy is in approval of the self-control in order to lead to healthy life and agrees with a balance method to satisfy people's personal needs without hurting their health. She suggests that the E Cigarette may be a feasible way to these people who are in the habit of smoking too much, for the E Cigarette has the same function as the common cigarette but, doesn't contain nicotine which is the main element producing the fatal harm to people's health. In her articleFind Article, Cindy also gives a good on-line shop ( http://www.dinodirect.com/hot-products-e-cigarette/ ) she finds when doing the related research which sells all kinds of E Cigarette.
