Have you heard of Bubba Watson? The man from Florida with the southern accent who appeared with no shirt,The Southern Masters Champ with a Heart of Gold Articles with no shoes and simply wearing overalls in the "golf boys" infamous internet video. The guy who purchased the "General Lee" from the 1970s hit show Dukes of Hazzard. The dude with the pink golf club, who can hit a ball farther than anyone else on tour. Or the man with the resourcefulness and skill to whack a hook shot off the pine straw and under some trees and onto the green! The man who was quoted that the shot was "pretty easy!" The dude who never even had one lesson in golf and is famous for stating "if I have a swing, I have a shot, and I hit the shot I see in my head."

Currently Bubba’s the newest athlete to take first place in the Masters tournament in Augusta. Bubba remarked that he was nervous at every drive, approach and putt on the closing round and throughout the playoff. But as Bubba was walking to get his ball hidden in the wooded area, he knew he could get it on the green, and he went for it. He knew the other golfer hadn’t made it to the green yet, but he didn't play it safe anyway. Bubba won the Masters on his own terms with what is being called "Bubba golf." And Watson received his prize in his own way, with modesty, great emotion, and gratitude to all of his friends, families, and even his locker room attendants. Bubba has big plans for his accomplishments.

According to Watson, it is "the stuff off the golf course" that makes everything worthwhile. With his reputation now cemented in record and his brand new green jacket, it seems that Watson pretty much views his success as merely a way to meet his real goals. Watson has a love for helping children. At the masters he wore all white to raise consciousness for children born with problems who require reconstructive surgery. He hosts two youth golf tournaments in an effort to encourage kids to understand the sport of golf and give them some positivity both while playing the game and while on their own time. Because Watson has has enjoyed the sport all his life and done quite well, he now can and will look to do better things all over the globe, that are completely separate from his golfing career.

Bubba's greatest accomplishment that brings him more joy than all the others? The adoption of his brand new son, Caleb.
