To get a little into it, Hasbro was founded in 1923 by brothers Henry and Helal Hassenfeld, and engaged in the sale of textiles. By 1940, begins to produce toys, the former being an accessory kit toy doctor and nurse. His first toy hit was Mr. Potato Head (Mr. Potato Head), built in 1952. Mattel's Barbie doll, but for men, is also an important character. This action figure was released on February 2, 1964, and for the occasion, Hasbro coined the term "action figure" (action figure) to distinguish its creation of the dolls (doll). Remember that in English, there is no gender; so much as a doll translates as "doll". Hasbro was aware that children do not really play with "dolls", so they decided to create a new action figures denomination.

In short, GIJoe is a marvelous creation. The first designs were based on World War II, but also had several of the war in Korea. GIJoe's license would be granted also to different factories around the world. In Brazil, Estrela it would manufacture under the name "Falcon" and in England Palitoy mark gave the name "Action Man", which Hasbro then used for a new line of figures, separated from GIJoe.  With the sad Vietnam conflict in 1969, Hasbro decided to give a return of nut and remove all references to GI Joe war, making this time in "Adventurer." After understanding history and facts, odds are you may be able to decide with ease and with a better overall perspective on action figures.
