A great lineup of digital and High Definition channels are offered by my local cable provider Comcast Cable. The show is even better when it is in high definition.

Being addicted is a horrible situation. Soon the drugs you use are not enough and you need more and more. That is what it is like with Damages and star Glenn Close's Emmy winning main character. Several of the writers and actors have received various nominations for the show.

A high profile lawyer from Hewes and Associates,Damages On The FX Network - Outstanding Quality TV Show Articles the revered and reviled Patty Hewes, is played by Glenn Close. Once more, she excels at playing the part of a person whom we love to despise. And then Ellen Parsons, played by Rose Byrne, shows up. She's a recent graduate who many firms scout, but prefers to work for Patty Hewes. Their personalities are opposite from each other, but neither wants to be controlled. The characters constantly evolve and the performances by the actors are great.

Almost overwhelming at first, Damages interweaves multiple time lines into a single story arc to weave together its compelling yarn. Each moment is often an important piece of the plot so it is not a show you can miss without losing something. Attention is a prerequisite for keeping up with Damages' complicated plot. A keen eye is also important. For instance, take a good look at Saffron's collar when Ray Fiske does in the pilot. Characters come and go and you are expected to remember them. And don't be shocked when one of the characters you love is lost. From show to show you'll never know who will make it to next week. The first season consists of 13 episodes, with many stars who will likely not return.

Will I continue to be addicted to Damages? Can the writers keep coming up with such great material? Are there still more twists and turns left to fill another season or two with such intense intrigue? Never give up hope! If the people behind Damages can't keep up the outstanding quality that they've maintained so far, TV will lose one of its most promising shows in decades.

I would certainly recommend purchasing a HDTV, so you can enjoy your show in the best quality possible. Comcast also offers High Speed Internet service and Digital Voice. My previous DSL service did not permit me to download a/v files or keep up with my personal favorite programs as quickly as this service does. Plus, with Comcast Digital Voice I can make crystal clear calls nationwide with out paying long distance charges. By taking advantage of the Comcast HD Triple Play bundle I pay one monthly flat rate for all three great services. I found the best promotion online. If you need HD digital cable, fast broadband High Speed Internet, or flat-rate Digital Voice service I can't suggest Comcast more highly.
