DirecTV Offers Great Customer Service And Parental Controls

DirecTV offers what is considered to be one of the best values available on the television market today.   With such a wide variety of channels to choose from and such a wide variety of programming packages and prices, it is safe to say that with DirecTV you will be able to find the perfect package for you.  Along with all of your local channels, DirecTV’s programming packages offer an assortment of other channels that pretty much cover the entire spectrum of television entertainment and beyond.   Most likely, if you can think of an actual television channel that you have heard of or seen, DirecTV offers it.  If they do not offer it, it is most likely not worth seeing or hearing about.  DirecTV offers channel packages that start at fifty channels and packages that go up well over 200 channels. 

Because DirecTV offers such a choice selection of channels, and such great options, you are sure to have more channels that you will watch regularly and less channels that you will never watch.   This, of course, is a regular problem with large programming packages offered through other satellite TV providers.  Although they may offer a large amount of channels, the selection may be poor.  Even if they did offer a fairly good selection, it is pretty hard to compete with the affordability, customer service, and over all great value offered by DirecTV.   The American Customer Satisfaction Index has actually just rated DirecTV number one in over all customer satisfaction for the 7th year in a row!  

DirecTV offers better customer service in general.  For one, DirecTV offers customer service online or over the phone that is available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.   Also, with DirecTV’s customer service hotline, you will be surprised to know that all of DirecTV’s customer service representatives are actually competent and knowledgeable in their field.  This way, if you ever have a problem (at any time of day or night) you can call DirecTV’s round the clock customer support hotline and speak to someone who actually knows what they are talking about.  How’s that for a breath of fresh air?

DirecTV also offers a great parental control feature.  Many young parents of today have considerable anxiety about their children accidentally stumbling upon a program with inappropriate content when the parent is not around.   Now that the television “air waves” are riddled with gratuitous sexual and violent material, it is hard to say what time it will pop up on certain channels or in what programs.  However, it is usually pretty easy to tell what channels have the content and whether it may be during the day or just late at night.  DirecTV played off of this when developing their parental control feature.  With DirecTV’s parental controls you can lock out entire channels or set them to be locked for only certain parts of the day.  The parental controls are also protected with a password system so that your child will not be able to change your settings when you are not around.   In general, you will do better with DirecTV than with anyone else.
