 NFL Sunday Ticket is a great channel for someone who doesn’t want to miss out on any of the action in this upcoming NFL season and DirecTV also has DVR Powered by TiVo as an optional feature on the free Hughes receiver that each new subscriber receives along with the rest of the free satellite TV system that they get.

 If you are unfamiliar with TiVo, it’s the function that allows you to do your own instant slow motion replays, along with he ability to skip right past commercials that come on during your games. TiVo also allows you the ability to stop any program on your TV and then restart it right where it left off when you return to the TV.  The programming search function allows you to find any program that DirecTV has scheduled, by simply entering it into the function by name or even by the name of an actor in the program or movie. Just give the button on the remote a click and the program will instantly pop onto the screen with the date and time it is playing.

 Simply give the recording button on the TV remote a click and it is set to be recorded when it comes on. If the game is rescheduled before it gets recorded, that’s no problem, because the computer in the DVR reschedules right along with it and it will still be recorded.
