Let It Go By Idina Menzel Interpretation

I would like to interpret to you today one of my favorite Disney songs, "Let It Go" by Idina Menzel.

[Verse 1]

The snow glows white on the mountain tonightNot a footprint to be seen

A kingdom of isolationAnd it looks like I'm the queen

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside

Couldn't keep it in, Heaven knows I've tried

Snow implies something cold or sad. She is basically saying that she is the queen of sadness.

Well, now they know

When you are sad, no matter how hard you hide it, sometimes the truth will eventually come out.

I don't care what they're going to say

Let the storm rage onThe cold never bothered me anyway

She is accepting the truth (her sadness) and making something out of it

When we feel lonely, sometimes we should keep some distance to get a new perspective that could make us happy again.
