In this article I will offer a comparison of the two, looking at some of their key features so you can decide which,Reviewing The Innovative Motorola Atrix And The Incredible HTC Evo 3D Articles if any, is the better smartphone.

Motorola Atrix

Currently being marketed as the “world’s most powerful smartphone”, this handset certainly has the credentials on paper to support this claim. With a dual-core 1 GHz processor, advanced touchscreen, and impressive user interface, it has both the hardware and software to carry out numerous tasks and provide a great user experience. But what do these specifications mean for people using the handset on a daily basis? Dual-core processors are appearing in more and more smartphones, and it looks like they will appear in all new smartphone releases before long. This advanced chips allow users to multitask (run multiple apps simultaneously) more efficiently with top performance from all open applications. It also means that certain aspects of the hardware functions better, such as the touchscreen, operating with virtually zero lag, along with several other benefits. As well as the processor, the Motorola Atrix offers a 5 megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage and even a biometric fingerprint scanner. The latter allows users to simply swipe their finger over the scanner to unlock the device rather than rely on the more traditional PIN code system. With features like this, it seems that the manufacturer’s claims may be realistic.

HTC Evo 3D

As the name suggests, the HTC Evo 3D has a number of 3D features, such as the screen and camera. This is one of only a small number of handsets which boasts this technology, and this is an category where this phone trumps the Motorola Atrix. But what does this actually mean? The screen displays the user interface in 3D, and the camera can take still pictures as well as 720p HD video footage in 3D. Aside from this technology the HTC Evo 3D is a great all rounder offering many of the specifications found on the Atrix. Super fast internet browsing at speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps in areas with 3G coverage (as well as Wi-Fi connectivity), dual-core processor (slightly more powerful than the Atrix at 1.2 GHz) and the latest version of the Android OS and expandable storage in the form of microSD card compatibility.

So which comes out on top?

If you are interested in having a 3D camera and screen, then no doubt the HTC Evo 3D would be your preferred handset out of the two. Several specifications of the HTC unit are slightly better than that of the Atrix though. Aside from this, there are no major differences in the specifications. To decide which is best for you, it may be worth thinking about what you want to use the phone for. For example, if you want a powerful multimedia device, the HTC Evo 3D may suit you better, or you may prefer the Motorola Atrix if you are looking for a functional all rounder for everyday use.

One thing is for sure though; both of these phones are superb and offer plenty of specifications to keep any user happy. With 3D cameras and biometric fingerprint scanners these handsets are certainly head-turning. Whichever handset you choose, it is unlikely that you will be disappointed.
