In case of screens relying directly on light or sound waves, the stylus of the finger directly blocks these reflective waves or reflects the waves of the screen. Also, the touch of a finger or a specialized capacitive pen or glove can only monitor the changes on the screen.
The types of Touch Screen Modules
Capacitive Touch Screen: A particular type of capacitive layer finds itself in use to hold electric charges. The coating used to hold the electrical charge changes the amount of the specific charge upon the point of contact or as soon as one touches the screen.
Resistive Screen: The mechanism of a resistive screen is different from that of a Capacitive Touch Screen. The pressure from the finger of the user causes the resistive and conductive layers of circuitry which touch each other changes. Hence causing the relative changes in the resistance of the circuit.
