An area that has always impressed with Nokia mobile phones is their excellent build quality. This is a feature often overlooked by many potential customers in favour of more fashionable facilities such as video capture and large touchscreens. The physical keypad which is one of the main attractions of the phone nestles in nicely beneath the screen. These keys seem well spaced out and should not prove to much of an issue even for the clumsiest of hands. Typing a message or e mail is easy, your thumbs sit nicely on each button thanks to them being slightly raised whilst the rubberised finish ensures you are pressing the key you require and not two or three others at the same time. Above the keypad you will find the familiar directional pad which is a common feature on Nokia devices such as this. This offers easy navigation around the phones display, whether it is to negotiate a website or to edit an office document. This button is surrounded by six others that perform various functions including the starting and ending of calls as well as the familiar home key.The other half of the fascia on the Nokia E6 is taken up by a good quality display. This screen measures 2.46 inches, a size that is slightly on the small size but necessary so the keyboard can be comfortably housed underneath. The display looks good thanks to a metallic bezel that surrounds the screen. When in use the display impresses equally as much. Despite its smaller size image quality is very high with a resolution 640 x 480 together with a colour count of over 16 million. Although the resolution may not seem as instantly impressive as some of the higher qualities you see on many smartphones, combined with the smaller size screen on this phone it equals a huge 326 pixels per inch.
