When you first imagine the electric guitar, the shape of the Fender Stratocaster is likely the first one that springs to mind. It has been in constant production since its first release in 1954.

Since its introduction in 1954, it has always been in production and with new models arriving regularly, that cover every conceivable genre, the Fender Stratocaster has arguably never been more popular. 

While it was born at the very dawn of the rock 'n' roll era, it's popularity ballooned in the '60s - with the Fender Stratocaster ascending to iconic status as it was favoured by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. 

Since then, players have looked the Fender Stratocaster to tap into that sense of retro charm. Yet, it also offers up something new to every player that approaches it, in whatever direction they choose to take the guitar.
