A lot of people don't realize that there have been a few types of light bulbs that have really been beneficial for a lot of people. The reason that it got so popular is that it created white light, instead of the yellow light that you get from incandescent. There are still people today that try to track down halogen lights because they just like the look of the white light.
LED: This type of light is new and it's going to be big in the future because of how little electricity it uses. It produces a decent amount of light and lasts very long. They're going to create very interesting things with this type of technology in the next few years. As the technology improves, you're going to find that more and more people will be using it in their home.
