Video over IP

Video over IP is a term used to describe unidirectional telecommunication service, which facilitates audio and video images for channeling more than one location by the use of Internet Protocol (IP). Steps involved are simple and followed by audio and video distributed over wide area networks or WAN.

In due course of time, the telephonic technology has greatly developed and all these advancements have effectively worked in allowing Video over IP. Later, telephone organizations realized that they might benefit and save a great deal of money by moving Video over IP, as most of their important data was being transferred in the same way.

However, gradually things changed and new technologies took over the market and thus, came the new IP that dominated over ATM. Therefore, Video over IP came into existence, updated, and fastened many ways of video transferring in modern times.
