Video over IP means using the internet protocol, (IP) for communication services, including audio and video data.

However, gradually things changed and new technologies took over the market and thus, came the new IP that dominated over ATM. Therefore, Video over IP came into existence, updated, and fastened many ways of video transferring in modern times.
