Many people today have heard of the smartphone,Why Buy A Nokia C3 Cell Phone? Articles but few know what they are let alone how to use them. The Nokia C3 has resolved this problem by making a cell phone which contains a multitude of functions specifically designed for those who lack techno-whiz capability. It not only connects users to the world in new ways, but is sleek, stylish, cute, and affordable as well.

Although it has certain limitations, it is specifically designed for those new to this market who would like to try to join the techno-generation, but have many fears. It is actually part of the S40 series that has Wi-Fi capabilities, but has included a few other cool features as well. This is an entry level mobile phone with the mobile operating system of the Nokia S40 model.

One of the unusual characteristics of this phone is the qwerty keyboard which is unique to the design. This means it is much like a typewriter in that keys are placed in the same order one would be use to using on a computer keyboard. This allows those with typing skills the ability to communicate more quickly and efficiently than on any other handset on the market. No longer will one need to type in acronyms since typing full words using the handset is so easy.

Nokia's incentive was not only to add new users to the market, but to also improve the connectivity and social networking capabilities of those with limited skills. Today even those who are in the older generation are now enjoying the ability to interact across mediums such as instant messaging, email access, and online Internet capabilities.

Some of the other features which are now being enjoyed with this cell phone are twin megapixel camera, a built-in Wi-Fi, a screen that is 2.4 inches in size containing a 262K color display, and not only 55MB of internal memory, but a MicroSD card that holds 8 GBs of additional storage. Additionally, the Bluetooth 2.1 is an added bonus many appreciate.

Many are thrilled when their cell phone has Internet access, but few understand why it is important or how it works. The Nokia C3 has what's called an Opera Mini browser built in. Much like on a personal computer, it requests pages from a serves which are then compressed before being relayed back to the mobile phone. Compression not only makes the transfer of information two to three times faster, but also translates information not designed for cell phones into a format that can be seen on any handset. This allows access to popular sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Weighing in at about 114 grams (about 4 ounces), this phone is lightweight and easy to handle. Although this cell phone does not come with a 3G feature many prefer, the Wi-Fi that is installed makes up for many of the functions normally handled by the 3G. Additionally, Ovi services, such as access to mail and maps, as well as the threaded messaging system that ensure messaging appear as conversation, provide many hours of fun without being tied to a computer.

For those new to the high-tech cell phone market, sometimes starting with less will provide more in the long run. The Nokia C3 is completely customizable and the battery lasts for up to 7 hours. Best of all, it has a price point that makes it more affordable to the masses. For those who have been reluctant in the past to "test the waters", as it were, there has never been a better time or a better way to connect to the world.
