A Beautiful Historically significant Peace Arch Park In White Rock, British Columbia

The park is located at the United States - Canada border at Blaine, Washington. It is a favorite park among locals those who grew up in Surrey -  White Rock Hotels or Blaine. When crossing the border take a break to stretch your legs and visit the park for a relaxing, beautiful experience.

The park is big, you can choose which areas to enjoy. If you're having a picnic, there are useful tables and lovely scenery to the right as you are going toward the Peace Arch border crossing. There are many good spots for Photo ops. The flowers are planted to create the flags or symbols of both countries. If you have kids with you, they can go and run around the playground. This park is a solemn reminder of the friendly neighboring countries we are fortunate enough to enjoy being. If you meditate on the value. The peaceful and friendly relationship between the USA and Canada is symbolized by the Peace Arch. It has allowed its border to remain the world's longest border without military protection. It is an excellent park to see shared by two countries. It’s a beautiful place to visit with your out of town guests. There is no time limit, you may spend as long as you find necessary. You can explore and can visit both sides of the border without a visa -- just leave in the same section of the frontier you entered. There are beautiful flower gardens on both sides and many sculptures on the US side. This is a must visit destination if you are in the area and do not want to stay in south Surrey hotels.

You can also bring your pooch along as long as they are on a leash. Doggy poop bags are provided on the US side at the upper park kiosk. The Provincial Park is unique in British Columbia provincial park because it’s location is at the 49th parallel, It’s planning, and development was coordinated with Washington State Parks.
