There is also a variety of parks and gardens throughout the island which are ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers.

 

The island measures 21 miles from north to south and 14 miles east to west at it's widest point. There are plenty of opportunities to hire a car at a reasonable price and by doing so, one can explore the island from any of the Barbados villas for rent.
