At one point, the resort enjoyed its peak and covered an area of about thirty thousand acres and portions have since then been sold or de-annexed. The current President of Walt Disney World Resort is Meg Crofton. The resort has more than 3700 job classifications and employs over a number of 66000 people. It offers the Walt Disney World International College (internship) Program for students from all across the globe.

While Wilderness Back Trail Adventure gives you a 3 hour tour through the stunning surroundings of the Fort Wilderness Resort, the Animal Programs offer you a journey through real encounters with exotic animals.
