Exploring the natural beauties of Khao Sok and enjoying nature at its finest.
After travelling around Thailand from north to south, east to west. I have pretty much seen everything Thailand has to offer, ofcourse there is still plenty of beautiful things I have missed, but I have definitely covered most of the touristy places and little known touristy places. Some great beaches in Thailand, also the culture is very rich and met many quality locals in my adventures who have helped me along the way. Have trekked up many mountains in Chiang Mai, explored the exotic fooods on off in Isaan which is north-west of Thailand, but there is one place that really sticks out in my mind which is Khao Sok. Khao Sok in my opinion is the best place you can go to in Thailand, I am amazed that it is not much more popular than it is today. I mean for a jungle trek or exploring nature, it would even be hard to find a place that could beat anywhere on earth really. I have also travelled through europe, south America and a handful of places in Africa and there is no place I have been too that beats Khao Sok. The rainforest is just has an abundant of animals and vegatation. The lime cliffs to the diamond cave and camping in the oldest and most diverse rainforest in the world is an experience everyone should experience. The amount of birds and animals that is everywhere in the rainforest is amazing, but it probably not the best Idea to go in alone as there is cobras and other dangerous animals. SO it might be best to hire one of the local guides who can also tell you a bit about the place. If your ever in Thailand or already in Thailand, please give Khao Sok a go, if you want to experience nature at its finest then Khao Sok is definitely the place to visit in Thailand.
