You will never have a dull moment during your UK beach holidays. To enjoy your UK beach holidays, you should book one of the spacious holiday cottages. The holiday cottages offer first-class accommodations for families and groups planning UK beach holidays. The holiday cottages are luxurious, self-catering. If you like to cook your own food during your UK beach holidays, then you should stay at the holiday cottages. There are several amazing places to visit during your UK beach holidays, here are a few tips you can use.

Dartmoor Puffing Billy Track

If you are staying at the spacious holiday cottages near the Dartmoor National Park, you can take a trip to the Dartmoor Puffing Billy Track. There are many walks you can take, here are a few suggestions. This will also give you the chance to enjoy some of nature’s best during your UK beach holidays.

Archaeology Walk

The Dartmoor National Park is a great place to enjoy a day-out with your family during your UK beach holidays. The park is rich in prehistoric artefacts and you will see several of these remains as you take these walks in the Dartmoor National Park. The Granite Tramway is one of the places where you will see several things that point to the remarkable past. The tramway is still visible and is one place worth exploring during your UK beach holidays.

Hound Tor

You can visit Hound Tor during your UK beach holidays. This is a medieval village located on the edge of the moor. This area was occupied in medieval times, but due to some reason it was abandoned sometime during the14th century. This site is one of the most popular and the largest of the medieval sites in Dartmoor. You can enjoy a nice walk and explore the place while staying at one of the luxurious holiday cottages.

Kelly Mine Walks

The Kelly Mine is a fascinating place to take a walk during your UK beach holidays. The Kelly Mine Walk will take 1 ½ to complete. The mine has been in use since 1797 but it was closed in 1951. Kelly Mine was the last mine in the United Kingdom where candles were used for underground lights. It was also one of the only mines that still used hand drilling till it was closed. A tour of the mine is recommended. This is a guided tour that is run by the Kelly Mine Preservation Society. If you are travelling as a group, you can organise a trip together. A volunteer will accompany you into the mineHealth Fitness Articles, to show you around and explain things as you take the tour. One of the sections in the mine is quite steep and you will need to be careful as you pass this place.
