Myrtle Beach: A Family Vacation DestinationMyrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a lovely destination for a family vacation. Ripley's Aquarium is always a good option for water fun where you don't have to get wet unless you want to. They feature a variety of educational classes including preschool programs and a host of other activities. Or if you're brave, you can sleep with the sharks or swim with the stingrays while you're there.
Picnicking, hiking, and cruising through the state parks is a lot of fun, too. Use one of the many shelters and enjoy the natural wonders that surround you for as far as the eye can see.
You'll certainly want to stay on the beach so you can spend time near the water without having to travel far back to your room. And Oceanfront views are perfect for watching the sunset and sunrise. If you prefer, choose a condo to rent. You’ll find many options for lodging to suit your every need.
