It is one of the seven Union territories where people love to visit all around the year to witness the beauty and uniqueness of the place. • Shri Aurobindo Ghosh Ashram: After getting retirement from politics, Sri Aurobindo Ghosh chose to settle down in Pondicherry, and 1926 was the year when he had a major spiritual realization and that time he created the ashram with his collaborator Mirra Alfassa. The spiritual seekers visit this Ashram and people can enter the main building of the Ashram in the visiting time.

• Auroville: Auroville means City of Dawn and from the name the city you can have an idea what this city is all about. The primary goal of the city is to make it a universal town where anyone regardless creed, color or race can stay together.

• Paradise Beach: If you want to relax your body and mind in the fresh air then Paradise beach is the best option for you. You can book any of the budget hotels in Pondicherry near Paradise beach, if you love beaches.

• Gingee Fort: If you want to have some adventures then you must visit the “Troy of East”, Gingee Fort. This is the place where tourists can spend a beautiful time with friends and family. You can also enjoy rock climbing here.

• Sri Gokilambal Thirukameswar Temple: Sri Gokilambal Thirukameswar Temple which is also known as Villianur Temple. It is a popular place of reverence for Hindus. Brahmotsavam is the time when people from all over India come to this place to receive the blessings of God.

• Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: This church is one of the oldest and most famous churches of Pondicherry. The peaceful and you will feel very close to the divine. In this church, you will get to see the Gothic architecture which is a very famous and rare design.

• Jawahar Toy Museum: This is the ideal place for the kids because of the presence of 140 colorful dolls which are brought from the different states of India. The toys are labeled carefully so that everyone can identify the differences.
