The Laser - Light and sound show in Egypt

Have you ever thought that ancient monuments could be mixed with modern technology, and that they could produce something wonderful? In this article we take a short journey to the Giza plateau, where the Great Pyramids stand. Here in total darkness will a journey begin towards light.

There are thousands of things to experience in Egypt, its history and ideas are intense and leave’s everyone overwhelmed. But one excursion I do recommend, is the Laser light and sound show at the Giza plateau.

This is a unique way of being in the present of the ancient gods, and the show has its own divinity surrounding it. Not only is this show a delight for the eyes, but it is truly also a pleasure for the ears.

Oxford voices telling the story of ancient Egypt, meanwhile laser, and images show the history visually. Words cannot come close to explaining the experience which you will have at this site.

When I went to see this beautiful performance of magnificent things, I was baffled because I saw the stars and moon so clearly behind and above the pyramids. It was so inspiring to watch, my eyes were all over the place.

6.30 pm October-April (winter)
8.30 pm May-September (summer).

The light and sound show at Giza is not the only light and sound show, in Egypt. Another beautiful show is at Karnak temples, where the story of Karnak is told. Each temple has a lot of history behind it, but these shows, give you a view into ancient Egypt without being too overwhelmed by the history itself, but rather you will sit in wonder of both the history and the stories behind the monuments.
