The Santa Claus parade will take place in Canada

If a country is located in the northern areas, there is more chance to hear the rumors that Santa Claus visits it, or maybe even meet him personally. In Canada it becomes more and more popular - to arrange events with this legendary personage.

On the threshold of Christmas and New Year's holidays the number of the eyewitnesses, saying that they saw an old man in a red caftan in person, grows.Apparently, Canadian city of Toronto has especially attracted Santa Claus. Otherwise, how it is possible to explain the fact that for already more than hundred years in the beginning of December he has been going through the city streets, accompanied by all his retinue? For the first time it took place in the remote 1905, when there was a rumor  in Toronto that Santa Claus will by all means glance into the shop "Fatons", situated in this city, during his world tour. The hearsay was caught by journalists at once. As a result, the public poured out into the streets on the appointed day and in admiration observed the procession which was moving from the railway station to the shop led by Santa Claus. The successful advertising course of the shop "Fatons" owners in the course of the time turned into Santa Claus parade, one of the main Toronto sights. The whole procession of cars, carts and platforms, each of them decorated in a special way, passes the streets. They carry Santa Claus himself and his numerous retinues: trumpeters, heralds, elves, fantastic characters, animals, clowns, jugglers - and other personages, the appearance of which is met with delight by citizens and touristsFind Article, gathered at this presentation.
