Summer is a time when thousands upon thousands of Americans, both young and old, head out of town to somewhere new. Whether thatís a vacation to another state, a long-haul trip to somewhere warm and exotic or just to visit family and friends around the country, itís the perfect time to get away from it all. More and more often, however, Americans are plugging into a new type of travel, a sort of eco-travel, if you will, that allows them to have a great, relaxing vacation, at the same time as giving a little something back. If the bright lights arenít your type of thing, you could work with disadvantaged children in Chicago on sport or music projects, or even head down to the beaches of Florida to protect the natural marine life.
