Calorie counting is a great way to monitor your fitness level. The best thing to do is eat 4 or 5 small meals a day instead of one big meal for dinner. This will also help you lose weight. Smaller meals will speed up your body's metabolism.

4. Before you go to bed, you should have at least one hour between your meal and sleep. It is much easier to pick fast food over a home cooked meal or to drive a short distance rather than walking. However, it is simply a healthier choice to get you to consume fewer calories, burn more calories and lose weight.

5. Next time you go to a restaurant why not share the meal and cut your calories in half. Also don't forget to share the appetizer and dessert.
