For nearly a half century, the perfume is still highly sought-after for its audacity. Its world-class composition offers a perfect blend of crisp citrus notes and distinctly masculine woody undertones.

The top note is Sicilian lemon obtianined by cold-pressing the peel of the fruit. Spontaneous and energizing, the fresh and uplifting Sicilian lemon brings its refined, daring quality to the top notes of Eau Sauvage. The fresh, airy notes of hedione resulted from research into jasmine absolute. The floral, jasmine and lemon accents of hedione, found in the heart notes of Eau Sauvage, are classics. Base notes are oak moss, vetiver, musk and amber bringing their daring and sophistication to the dry-down of Eau Sauvage.

Designed by Pierre Dinand, the flacon features swirly ridges around the glass bottle. In the middle is a silver band with the Eau Savage written in black writing, along with the maker Christian Dior, Paris. The silver lid in a mottled effect is perfectly matched with the silver band around the centre of the bottle.

This year the house of Christian Dior refresh it with a new advertising campaign featuring world famous Alain Delon in order to attract more young customers and continue the legend of Eau Sauvage Eau de Toilette.
