Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 10 Show

This autumn, Marc Jacobs brought a live stream of Louis Vuitton collection. 

As Mr. Jacobs said, the entire collection was inspired by a 2009 version of New Age travelers — hence the loose references to Africa in a dress with silken strands or Davy Crockett’s Wild West frontier in the raccoon-style tails in pale green or apricot.
These achingly hip hippies wearing sporty clothes in utilitarian fabrics were not, of course, toting LV trunks. But a handbag swung over each and every outfit, although the models already looked like they were wearing a wardrobe and a half — at least above the short hemlines. Shorts in patterned stretch jersey added sporty decoration.
Mixes of color and print added to the upbeat spirit that the designer started with his winter collection, although that was dedicated to the city of Paris while this looked much more like a luxury version of the diverse reach of his own Marc by Marc Jacobs line.
