With all the economic unrest in the world people are becoming more interested in getting back to basics. They are becoming more focused on what is important and cutting down on spending. One way of cutting back on the amount of money being spent is helped by people moving closer into town. People are buying fixer uppers and putting down roots in inner city areas. For you with the small stores in those same areas, you are in a good spot to prosper. You could possibly have a much larger customer base if you become involved with these people and the community resurgence.

Instead of money you can give your time. Whenever you do anything involving the community remember to bring a bunch of promotional items. You want to do good things for your community and you need to get credit for it as well. These groups are great to have around because they are the people who live there and are working for a better neighborhood.
