maker Renault is now set its eye on the hatchback market in the Indian terrain.
In fact the company is mulling to launch a line of cars for the Indian premium
hatchback car segment. The official sources had already revealed that they are
going to launch a car based on the lines of the premium hatchback Renault Modus
for the Indian roads. Moving further ahead in this direction the company has
now unveiled it’s another premium hatchback Renault Pulse. The car is going to
be the first in the series of Renault’s growing ambition in the Indian terrain.
The car was well received by the Indian auto enthusiasts for it’s never before
looks and some quality features. The car had a grand opening when it was unveiled just after the Buddh Indian Grand Prix in Noida by Formula one driver Mark Webber and Karun Chandhok. The car will publicly be available after its share of the fame at the Indian auto Auto Expo 2012 in January which is India's largest auto extravaganza. With the launch of Renault Pulse the company will also launch its entry level SUV Renault Duster at this mega auto event. As of now the Renault Pulse price has been kept under wraps and going by the features and the looks of the car it can be priced competitively in the range of Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh. The Renault Pulse is expected to take on popular premium
hatchback cars like Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz, Skoda Fabia, Maruti Swift. The
Renault Pulse will be available in shades of Brilliant White, Striking Silver,
Dark Grey, Light Blue and Leaf Green. The car is expected to be launched in two
variants. The car will have a lot of similarities with the Nissan
Micra. Many of Renault Pulse features and specifications including the front
fascia, bumper, headlamps, grille, badging all are ripped off from the Micra.
The car will also host a range of comfy and safety features like electric
OVRMs, adjustable seats, Chrome internal door handles, Rear cup holder, electric-windows,
Keyless entry, 15-inch alloy wheels, Dual-beam H4 headlights, Beige fabric
interiors, Dual SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic
Brake Distribution) etc. The Renault Pulse will be a premium small car model in
the hatchback segment. For starters the Renault Pulse will be available in the
