competitors in the small car segment. The car is good in terms of the quality
and refinement as well. The car certainly has all the key ingredients of
becoming a chartbuster in the small car segment and is already heralded as one
of the best supermini cars around the globe. Comfort: The car certainly looks bigger in size and appears
costlier in its segment. This has been a huge improvement from the older Clio
models which looked very frail and cheap. The new car is more comfortable for
the occupants with the right ergonomics. The engine too looks in shape and
refined even when you are at high speeds. The comfort is also a huge
improvement from the previous models and has been executed well. Performance: The car comes in a variety of engine
specifications with 3 cylinder 1.1-liter diesel, a 4 cylinder 1.2 lire petrol,
a 1.5litre diesel, a 1.4 and 1.6lire petrol. For the Indian market the car will
be equipped with sub 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.5litre diesel. All the engines
will have enough force, decent response and neatly refined. Looks: The car is from the land of fashion fanatics and is
one of the best looking cars in the segment. With the recent developments the
car’s looks have just gotten more beautiful both on the inside and the outside.
In spite of the new beautification the, car still retains its element of
laissez faire. Quality: The car did have some initial hiccups with the
quality. This time around though the company seems to have taken things
seriously and the new Clio is so far free from problems. The car also looks far
better with good quality than the old car. As long as the bonnet can remain in
its place in the front fiasco the Renault Clio should hold itself in good stead
this time around. Handling: The new Clio is certainly more road friendly and listens to the steering more often than not. This maturity can clearly be seen in the way the car drives. The earlier Clio was a nippy and light in weight French hatch. This time though the car has got some German solidity and might make you feel a bit little less agile. Practicality: Overall the old Renault Clio had some
packaging problems while the new Renault Clio has certainly made away with any
such issues and is a lot more spacey compared to its older versions. The car
easily houses adults at the rear and they too can move in the car with ease
even in three door models. Running costs: Most of the Clio’s, excluding the 197 hot
hatch, are all easily insurable and the running costs are also very wallet
friendly for the average user. The high torque diesel engines version manages
