How To Clean Your Refrigerator

Isn’t it crazy how fast your refrigerator can become a complete mess. Food and liquid can really become sticky. And if you spill anything it can get spread all around and leak to the bottom shelves. Make Sure You Create a Cleaning Schedule

As with any cleaning project, its always easier if you have regular cleanings than just to do it every once in awhile. Messes tend to get out of hand quickly and if you can simply clean it on schedule, this will never become a tough chore again.  Here is a tip, keep moistened cloths nearby. If you ever have a spill, you can simply wipe it so it doesn’t try and become more complicated.

Every week clean the shelves, drawers, and walls of the refrigerator. This will prevent a build-up and also will decrease contamination.

Throw Away Expired Food

Do you have leftovers in a bowel that have been pushed all the way in the back. You really need to throw them away if you have no intentions of consuming them or they have gone stale. Remember to throw away those condiments that have expired too.  If your not sure what to do with it, throw it away.

Make It Smell Good

Many of use are familiar with refrigerators that don’t smell nice. If this is the case with yours. open up a box of baking soda and stick it in.

Work Smarter Not Harder

Begin on the top shelves after you have cleaned out all the outdated products. You don’t have to empty out all of the items. Just work around them or move them to the side. The reason you start at the top is in case something falls and spills.  You don’t want to clean a shelf more than once.
