A candle lantern is a great multifunctional object. During a blizzard and eventual power cut you can stay at home and light it and your home would be cosy and nice again. Besides, you can use it as a torch while camping in case you have lost or forgotten yours or if you simply want to enjoy the campsite life without using modern devices. Not to mention, that the scary campsite stories sound more realistic on a candle lantern. It could also make another magic by turning your ordinary room into an extraordinary place. You can create romantic dinner atmosphere with the proper light and even enhance the effect by using several candles.

For the ones who love experiencing old-fashioned lifestyle once and while, a candle lantern gives you the opportunity to feel the athmosphere of previous centuries when there was no electricity. If you wonder how your grandparents lived without electricity, TV, mobile phones and Internet, you can make a small experiment – do not use electricity for couple of days or do not turn on the lights and use a candle lantern instead. You would be surprised of the results and you would either love it or experience one of the worst couple of days in your life. A candle lantern is also an ideal device which could replace your lamp if you cannot use it for some reason. As mentioned above, there can be a power cut, a surprise for someone or just an attempt to do something more environmental or new. It was even used as a sign of protest in former communistic countries.

A candle lantern is also great decoration. You can use it at your wedding day  or at your birthday party, for example large colorflame candles for your 20th , 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th anniversary. And another application is a very popular although trivial one – giving it as a present. It could be a theme present, for example a Christmas candle or a Valentine’s candle. It could be a present for your mother who likes a specific scent, like that of roses. It could be also a nice present for your grandma or any other female relative. Of course, be careful if you want to give it to a male. It is very inappropriate in some cultures to give such presents so you should know the person very well before you make such a step.
