Alcatel OT 800 is just the right choice

There are many of us who wish to buy a Blackberry but can’t afford it as it is too expensive. Now there is good news for such people, the Alcatel OT 800 offers same looks and somewhat similar features to a Blackberry set in less than even half its price.  This new handset though does not have all the features that a Blackberry has but is it worth having and is not at all disappointing.  The main features that both have in common are the QVGA screen and the QWERTY keyboard.

The QVGA screen of Alcatel OT 800 is a colored graphical TFT screen having 262K colors. The screen has a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels and is 2.20 inches in width. The phone also has remarkable dimensions of 111 by 58.2 by 13.9 mm. To support smooth navigation through the phone the company has provided a Scroll Wheel along with the QWERTY keyboard.  This mobile phone is also equipped with a G-Sensor and Widgets to enhance its functioning. 
 
The Alcatel OT 800 also has a huge amount of memory to offer to its users. It has a capacity to store five hundred phone contacts. It has a shared memory of twenty MB which can be extended up to 4 GB with the help of a TransFlash memory card which can be inserted into the microSD slot. It provides its users excellent sound quality. It has a good range of polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones and other ringtone profiles to offer to its owners. It also has a good music player which allows us to search a song by album, artist or genre. It is also has a video player and recorder, though it does not have the capabilities of a full fledged media player.

The Alcatel OT 800 also offers facilities like alarm clock where up to five alarms can be set together. It has a calculator, calendar, T9, hands free, FM Radio. It also supports voice dialing and a voice memo. This mobile also comes loaded with two games which are supported by an integrated accelerometer, a pedometer and a stopwatch as well. We can also load more games on the phone and enjoying gaming.
