The Apple iPad 2 is well on its way to hit the tablet market place. In all probability, users all over and particularly in the UK may be able to lay their hands on this coveted device some time in March/April, 2011.

Though still,Apple iPad 2 The Wait is Nearing a Happy Conclusion! Articles Apple iPads continue to enjoy a substantial share of the mobile computer tablet market place, the fact remains that the advent of the Samsung Galaxy Tab has most certainly turned the so far cosy and near monopoly position enjoyed by the Apple iPads a lot. The fact that other rivals like the upgraded version Streak from Dell, and the impending arrival of other competing tablet devices such as the Motorola Xoom, LG G-Slate and the Blackberry Playbook all meant that Apple does something quickly to counter this. And this is exactly what Apple has done by announcing the first quarter, 2011 release of the Apple iPads 2.

Mr Steve Jobs, the Chairman and CEO of this premier mobile communication company has obviously not liked the fact that the Apple iPads were found wanting on two or three significant counts when compared with the new Samsung Galaxy Tab devices from their South Korean mobile phone rival. Added to this was the fact that every passing day brought with it the news that more and still more rivals were joining the fray in the mobile computer tablet market place. Hence, this urgency and marketing euphoria surrounding the arrival of the Apple iPad 2 in the near future.

But on the other hand, Apple has been studiously avoiding confirming any of the technical features of the Apple iPad 2 as well. So whatever we know are very much within the realm of speculation though from very reliable industry sources. And nothing at all can be considered as confirmed. All the same, it can very well be said that from what one could gather the new Apple iPad 2 will have the latest Android 2.1 Eclair version of the operating system running it with the Qualcomm MSM 7227 600 MHz processor.

The Apple iPad 2 will also have a five mega pixel camera device. This, by all reckoning is a must if Apple is to counter the challenge posed by the two camera devices that the Samsung Galaxy Tab carries. The Apple iPads did not have any snapper at all. Apple, all said and done, simply cannot afford to share further market share to the tablet device from Samsung.
