Sometimes, doing a cell number lookup is done to discover the identity of an unknown number on your latest cell phone bill, other times it is done to find out where an old friend is living now, and still other times it is done to check on whom your kids have been speaking with.

Regardless of the the reason, these kinds of searches are now one of the easiest things you can do.  I'll do my best to explain how it works below.

The owners of the information behind cell phone numbers are the major wireless carriers you pay every single month to keep your service connected.  These carriers do not provide a directory to the public that discloses names, addresses, or any other information behind the wireless numbers they service.

In fact, if you go to one of the major wireless carrier's sites and try to look up a wireless number, they will redirect to the site of a reverse cell phone directory.

The fee for a results report is pretty small, though.  In return for that fee, you will typically be able to find out:

o    Owner's name and address

o    Map location of current address

o    List of previous residences

o    Cell phone carrier

o    Complete owner history of the wireless number

o    Other phone numbers that belong to the owner

o    Names of neighbors and relatives

o    Age

o    Occupation

This information will vary depending on which wireless carrier the reverse cell phone directory draws its data from, but the list just mentioned is pretty representative of what you should expect to see in a report.

When you choose a directory to run your cell phone lookup, just make sure you don't have to pay any money before finding out whether the site has a match for the phone number you searched.  Also, make sure the site offers you a way of getting your money back if you are not completely happy with the information contained in your report.
