Nokia 5030 comes with Dual Band technology which covers GSM 900 & GSM 1900 networks. The phone is having good message service known as text messaging which allows the user to share messages containing text to other SMS compatible contacts which plies a quick method of communication for the users to use when a call does not suit their needs. And it can hold up to 250 SMS messages so that the users can store those all important messages in their phones memory.

The phone embeds 64-MB of internal storage but unfortunately no card slot is available. About 10 hours of talk time, 524 hours of standby time and 24 hours of Radio Playback time can be expected from rechargeable battery.
