The Nokia 6700 might not be the most advanced mobile phone from Nokia or the most modern looking, but its simple classic styling and useful features promise to make it quite appealing among its users.

Nokia 6700 is a sleek and fashionable phone. It is quite cool in terms of exterior and interior. It caters to almost all basic needs that one used to look forward to posses in a handset.

The Nokia 6700 Classic comes in a choice of three coloured casings which enhances the classic look of this stunning handset. The three colours include Silver metallic,Nokia 6700 – A Classic Phone Articles Matte metallic, and Black metallic. The 2.2 inches TFT QVGA screen supports 16.7 million colours with the resolution of 320 x 240 Pixels. Specifications are 109.8 x 45 x 11.2 mm which weighs 116.5 grams.

The phone is packed with 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash and Auto Focus. User can balance the clicking modes with white balance facility available both in still and video capturing options. Along with 4x zoom Video Streaming and Landscape Video Mode are something exceptional. The music player of the phone supports MP3, AAC, WMA, MP4 and Midi files. Album art display and FM radio with RDS are more than welcome.

AGPS navigation and conference call are the features everybody expects these days in their handsets and Nokia 6700 serves this purpose very well. Nokia browser, Opera Mini Browser and Nokia Mobile Search are the browsers that have been provided by the company in the phone to access Internet.  Among messaging services apart from SMS and MMS options Email with attachment, Instant Messaging, Predictive Messaging and Nokia Audio Messaging are also present.

The 170MB onboard storage space of the phone is promised to be well supported by external memory expandable upto 8GB through Micro SD cards. The rechargeable battery gives 300 hours of stand-by time and approximately 5 hours of talk time. The device is backed with Quad Band Network technology. One can download games on this handset and few inbuilt java enabled games are already there.
