On the whole, N97 Mini is the most powerful business phone of Nokia’s popular N-series and Samsung Pixon12 M8910 is a killer camera phone. As both of these are having their own specialties so we can’t say anyone the winner.

Nokia N97 Mini and Samsung Pixon12 M8910 are real heroes of Nokia's N-series and Samsung Pixon range. The former one is superbly loaded business phone equipped with QWERTY Keyboard and the latter one is an incredible camera widget that has left far behind other camera phones of Nokia and other brands as well.

Nokia N97 Mini has been assembled with 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen with 640 x 360 Pixels resolution and 16.7 M colours. Nokia’s phone has 138 grams weight and measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2 mm and Samsung’s weight is just of 120 grams and its casing measurements are 108 x 53 x 13.8 mm

Though in terms of camera, of course Samsung Pixon12 M8910 is the winner as it offers 12 Megapixel camera with an array of functions like wide 28mm lens, autofocus, xenon flash, LED flash, Variable aperture, tracking touch autofocus, geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, wide dynamic range, Smart Auto mode, image stabilization,  Beauty Shot etc. But N97 Mini also incorporates 5 MP camera which is not bad at all and its features are Carl Zeiss™ Optics, Dual LED Flash, 14 x Digital Zoom, Autofocus, Dedicated Camera Key, Picture & Video Geo Tagging, CoverFlow Photo Viewer etc. Besides, videocall camera is a common feature of these devices.

Though both competitors are equipped with document viewer and GPS Navigation system but in Nokia’s widget you will find it supported by A-GPS function, Nokia Maps & Digital compass. Internet surfing is easy by using WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML browsers on both these rivals but Nokia’s widget also supports RSS feeds. 3G HSDPA (HSUPA in case of Pixon12 M8910), WLAN Wi-Fi (UPnP Support in case of Mini N97), Bluetooth with A2DP, USB, GPRS, EDGE technologies are given connectivity options to these phones.

MP3, WMA, AAC, eAAC & eAAC+ music files and WMV, RealVideo, MP4 video files on N97 Mini and MP3, eAAC+, WMA/AMR and DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV, MP4 video files on Samsung Pixon12 M8910 can be played through their respective music players and video players. Apart from these, both these have Stereo FM radio with RDS but additionally, Nokia also renders a Visual radio feature. SMS, MMS, Push Email (SMTP, IMAP4 & POP3), Email with Attachments, Email Web Widget, Instant Messaging are the communication features of Nokia N97 Mini but its competitor supports only SMS, MMS, Email and Predictive Text.
